Open technology initiative

Technology for a better tomorrow.

Morrow is an independent, community-driven initiative. We build free and open-source software, and we host eligible open-source projects for free.

FreeOur software and hosting cost nothing to use.
Open sourceCode is public, licensed openly, and built in the open.
Community-drivenA community, not a product category.

What we do

Two ways we lower the barriers.

Technology moves forward when people can learn, build, share, and contribute. Morrow exists to lower barriers — not create new ones.

01

Free and open-source software

We build useful tools and publish every line of code. Use them, fork them, and help make them better.

02

Free hosting for open-source projects

Eligible open-source projects get hosting at no cost, so maintainers can spend their time on code, not invoices.

See how it works

What we believe

Open by design.

Three principles shape every decision, from code to how we talk to people.

01

Useful.

We make things that solve real problems. Function comes before decoration.

02

Open.

We share our work, invite contributions, and make decisions transparently.

03

Human.

We write like people, welcome newcomers, and keep complicated things approachable.

Free hosting

Hosting for open source, on us.

Running infrastructure costs money. Maintainers shouldn’t have to pay to give software away. If your project is open source, it may qualify for free hosting.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your project

Send the repository, its license, and what you need hosted.

  2. 02

    We check eligibility

We review each application case by case and get back to you.

  3. 03

    Ship it

Once approved, your project runs on Morrow infrastructure at no cost.

What we look for

  • Source code is public under an OSI-approved open-source license.
  • The project is actively maintained and developed in the open.
  • Usage stays fair to the shared resources other projects rely on.

Open source

Built in the open.

Everything we make is published on GitHub. Use it, fork it, open an issue, or send a pull request.

Our first repositories are on the way.

Follow the organization on GitHub to see new projects as soon as they’re published.
